The business
CutLink Tools is a range of battery-powered hydraulic crimpers, cable cutters, hand crimpers, strippers and dies for electricians and contractors, with hire kits for one-off jobs.
What it needed
The range is technical, so the site had to work two ways: let a tradie who knows the model number get straight to the specs, and help someone who only knows the job find the right tool. Buying had to hand off cleanly to the existing online store.
What we built
- A find-your-tool guide that starts from the job, not the model number
- A 33-product range grouped into crimpers, cutters, hydraulic pumps, hand tools, strippers and dies
- A full catalogue page and a tool hire page with hire kits
- A section explaining the shared 18V battery platform
- Quote requests, a FAQ, and Shop Now buttons that go straight to the matching products in the store
Under the hood
Hand-coded pages with product structured data for every tool, including model numbers, so individual tools can appear in Google's product results. Purchases go through the existing Shopify store, so stock is managed in one place.
