No.1 Electrical Service
A family-owned solar, battery and Level 2 electrical business that needed to win local search in two languages.
The business
No.1 Electrical Service is a family-owned Sydney electrician, operating since 2010, with licensed, SAA-accredited Level 2 electricians installing solar, batteries and general electrical work across the St George area and wider Sydney.
What it needed
The business serves many Chinese-speaking households, so a single translated page wasn't enough: the whole site had to work in Chinese. It also needed to show up for individual suburbs, and to make getting a quote as quick as a phone call.
What we built
- Full English and Chinese versions of the site, each with its own pages
- Suburb pages for Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, Bexley and a dozen more service areas
- Sections for solar and battery, general electrical and commercial work
- A three-step quote form and click-to-call on every page
- A guide to NSW solar and battery rebates, written for homeowners
Under the hood
Built with Astro, which produces plain, fast HTML. Taps on the phone number, SMS and email links are recorded as conversions in Google Analytics, so the business can see which pages actually produce enquiries.
Full disclosure: No.1 Electrical Service is run by Davy's family.
